Typically what we are looking for on an inspection is wind and hail damage! With hail damage the first thing we look for is what’s called collateral damage. This type of damage shows us first the presence of hail how big it was and how much of it hit your roof.
After we verify the presence of hail the next thing we will look for is hail hits on the shingles. What we will need to find is 8 to 10 hail hits with in a 10 by 10 test square on your roof because these are the same things your insurance adjustor will be looking for.
If we find every thing that we are looking for, then we will take a few pictures to document everything, and assist you with filing your claim.
